Center Brook Lopez scored 23 points for Brooklyn but was 1 of 5 in the fourth quarter. Joe Johnson and Thaddeus Young added 22 and 14 points, respectively.

NEW ORLEANS -- Kyle Korver broke out of a shooting slump with 22 points on 8 o -8 shooting, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 3:53 left, to lift Atlanta over winless New Orleans.

Korver's sharp-shooting exhibition overcame a career-tying scoring night by Pelicans' Anthony Davis, who scored 43 points on 14 of 23 shooting from the field and 14-for-16 from the free throw line.

Davis had 33 points in the second half and but the Pelicans dropped their fifth straight game.

NEW YORK -- John Henson returned after missing four games with an Achilles tendon injury, scoring 22 points to lead Milwaukee.

The forward came off the bench for the Bucks and provided a fourth quarter surge, scoring 11 points. His two free throws and a hook shot gave the Bucks a 79-75 lead with 9:45 to play.

CLEVELAND -- LeBron James scored 31 points, had 13 assists and reached another milestone in Cleveland's victory.

James became the 20th player in NBA history with 9,000 career field goals. He reached the milestone on a dunk in the first half -- just as he reached the 25,000-point club on Monday against the Sixers on a dunk in Philadelphia.

He is now one of five active players with 9,000 baskets, joining Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki.

The Celtics, who scored a combined 29 points in their previous two first quarters combined, shot 65.4 percent from the floor in the quarter and went on to finish the first half with 72 points and a 61.2 percent shooting percentage.

After leading by as many as 30 in the first half, and watching the Wizards cut the lead to 14, the Celtics regrouped behind the long-range shooting of Avery Bradley, Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk.

Drummond had 12 points and 17 rebounds in the game, but missed 11 of 13 free throws.
