Obituary
Patricia J. LaForge, 79, of New Holland, went to be
with her Lord at 6:20 p.m. November 2, 2015 at
Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Pat was born April 5, 1936 in Lincoln, the daughter
of George H. and A. Fern Crumpler Blaum II. She
married Wayne LaForge October 11, 1959, at New
Holland. He survives in New Holland.
Pat is also survived by one son: Gary Wayne (Lisa)
LaForge of New Holland, one daughter: Dawn Rochelle
(Mark) Beavan of New Holland, one sister: Sherrill
Blaum of New Holland, grandchildren: Joshua (Talar),
Justin, Jeremy LaForge; Melissa Montanez and
Charlotte Rose LaForge; Jason (Tracie) Beavan;
Timothy Beavan and Matthew Beavan, and one great
grandchild: Amber Elizabeth Beavan and one to be
blessed with in December. She was preceded in death
by her parents, three brothers: George W. Blaum III,
Richard L. Blaum, Derwood Blaum; and one sister:
Virginia Aldag. |
Pat worked at Lehn and Fink; New Holland-Middletown
School as secretary; the Lighthouse in Lincoln, she
was a homemaker and sold Avon products.
Services for Pat will be Saturday, November 7, 2015
at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of
New Holland with Rev. Becky Barrow and Bill Dolan
officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Grove
Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00
p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln. Memorials may be given in Pat’s name to
Gideons, First United Methodist Church of New
Holland or the family.
