LINCOLN – Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital has announced Terri Ann Jean of Lincoln as the
November Employee of the Month. For over 19 years, Jean has been a part
of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Team but has been an ultrasound
tech for 31 years.

As a Radiologic Technician, Jean conducts ultrasounds of patients,
prepares necessary paperwork, and ensures that studies are available
for the radiologists. And while Jean was nominated by co-workers for
the Employee of the Month honor for several reasons, it is her
exceptional kindness to patients and co-workers that is evident
every day.
“My favorite part of the job is meeting my patients, sharing
stories, and learning a little about their lives,” said Jean.
Jean is also very proactive in assisting hospital efforts to
decrease its environmental footprint. She takes the initiative to
collect several containers around the hospital to ensure they are
recycled.
“Terri is a wonderful example of the GREAT that we promote at ALMH,”
said her anonymous nomination.

“I feel that this community is so fortunate to have a medical
facility of this caliber in a rural area. I am blessed with a
wonderful manager and excellent co-workers that make work
enjoyable,” said Jean. “I can say that I’m one of lucky ones to have
worked in a career for 31 years and still enjoy my job.”
