Maddy Davis officially signs volleyball letter of intent

[November 11, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI - Wednesday night Maddy Davis of Mount Pulaski is surrounded by her mom, Patti Davis, and dad, Brad Davis, and coaches Donna and Bethany Dulle, as she signs her national letter of intent to play volleyball at Louisiana Tech University.

Family, friends and teammates gathered at The Old Brickyard to celebrate the 6'2" Lady Topper, Maddy Davis, of Mount Pulaski as she signed on to play Division I volleyball.

"It's always been a goal of mine," said the three-year varsity starter for the Lady Toppers. Davis looks forward to not only being a middle hitter in college, but also a right-side hitter.

This weekend Davis will have tryouts with the Illini Elite club volleyball team in Bloomington. This will be her fifth year with the Illini Elite and she will be busy traveling with club volleyball until June.

She will most likely report to Louisiana in July to begin her collegiate career as a Bulldog. Davis plans to study physical therapy at Louisiana Tech University.
