[November 16, 2015]  LINCOLN -  Michael R. Farnam, 59, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Funeral Arrangements are pending at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

Lincoln -- Michael R. Farnam, 59, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield surrounded by his loving family.

A Memorial Service for Mike will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln with Mr. Troy Diesring officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Cremation rites have been accorded

Burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery.

Michael Ray Farnam was born on November 15, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Willis Franklin and Anna Pilkenton Farnam. He was united in marriage to Gladys Elizabeth Stacey on March 4, 2011. She survives.
 

Also surviving are his mother: Anna Farnam of McLean, one son: Joshua (Donna) Farnam of Lincoln, one daughter: Sarah (Mike) McCabe of Effingham, one brother: John (Joan) Farnam of Bloomington, two sisters: Laure (Bill) Bauer of Atlanta and Sandra (Mike) Byrd of McLean, two grandchildren: Jordan and Zachary McCabe, and special Aunt Nancy Robinson of Greenville, Ohio.

Mike was preceded in death by his father and one son: Chad Burnham.

Mike graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 1973. Mike retired from Lincoln Community High School in the Maintenance Department after 30 years of service.

Memorials may be made to his family.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln.
