7th Grade
The Lady Trojans were stuck in a seesaw battle during the first
half, but with solid defense and a balanced offense, were able
to pull away in the second half to earn the victory 22-14.
Dana Williams and Cadence Presswood led the way with 8 points
each. Williams grabbed 7 rebounds and 4 steals while Presswood
cleaned up 6 rebounds and 6 steals of her own. Jessie Patton
aided the Lady Trojans scoring total with 4 points.
The 7th grade team finishes the regular season with a record or
15-5 and will face Williamsville in the first round of regionals
this Saturday at 10:30 at Lincoln Junior High School.
8th Grade
It was a bitter sweet night for the 8th grade team.
While celebrating 8th Grade Night, the Lady Trojans continuous
efforts to mount comebacks were halted by the Maroons high
percentage shooting attack.
Paityn Rion lead the team with 4 points and 10 rebounds. Mariah
Metelko chipped in two points and 3 steals in the losing effort
with a final score of 40-17.
It was a hard fought year for the 8th grade team as they finish
the regular season 5 - 15.
