Four night event ends with Wednesday
Auction and “Taste of Lincoln”

LINCOLN
- Start your Christmas season with the Oasis Senior Center!
Beginning Sunday November 15th, the Oasis Senior Center, 2810
Woodlawn Rd., Lincoln, will hold three special celebration meals and
a “Taste of Lincoln” on the fourth night.

Also showcased will be Christmas trees decorated by local
businesses and groups. The Christmas trees will be auctioned off to
the highest bidder, there will be a silent pie auction and a large
Cookies-by-the-Pound Sale will also take place during this
four-night celebration. The gift shop will also hold a discount
night.
Meals will be served from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. each evening. The meal
for Sunday, will be homemade chicken & dressing, mashed potatoes
with gravy and corn. Chili soup and a ham & cheese sandwich meal
will be served Monday. A meatloaf dinner will be served Tuesday.
Desserts and drinks are included with these meals.
On Wednesday, November 18th, the “Taste of Lincoln” special event
will include seven caterers and restaurants. Deep Roots Bakery and
Cafe, El Mazatlan Restaurant, Guzzardo’s Restaurant, Lincoln Land
Catering, Nuthatch Hill BBQ Co., Peggy’s Place, and Sam Danosky are
lined up to provide servings of their specialties.
Tickets for all four evenings are available in advance at the Oasis
reception desk or may be purchased at the door. Carry-outs will be
available Sunday evening through Tuesday evening. There will be no
carry-out option on Wednesday night at the Taste of Lincoln.

Whole pies will be sold at a silent auction on Sunday, November 15th. Christmas
cookies and candies will be sold by the pound beginning Monday, while supplies
lasts. Tuesday discounts will be offered at the expanded Oasis Gift Boutique
which will also be open for early holiday shopping.
Each of these nights, the decorated trees will be available for viewing. A live
auction will be held to sell the trees on Wednesday starting at 7 p.m. All
proceeds benefit the Oasis Senior Center.
