Obituary
Melissa Marie Tungate, 38, formerly of Lincoln,
passed away at 7:44 p.m. on November 11, 2015 at her
home.
Melissa was born July 8, 1977 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Patricia Gilliland Smith Laubenstein.
She married Gregory Tungate June 30, 2000 in
Lincoln. He survives in Lincoln.
Melissa is also survived by her two daughters:
Emilie and Chloe Tungate.
Melissa Marie was an extremely intelligent,
creative, beautiful, unique, strong hearted woman.
She was an amazing mother to her two daughters,
Emilie and Chloe. She was loved and respected by all
who knew her. Melissa wasn’t here to be boring, she
wasn’t here to blend in, she stood out. She was a
fighter and proved she had strength until the very
end. She’ll always be in the hearts of those who
loved her, and will never be forgotten. |
Cremation rites have been accorded, no services will
be held.
Arrangements were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Memorials may be given to the family to help with
her cremation services.
