Guard C.J. Miles added 20 points for the Pacers, who won for the
seventh time in nine games.
Indiana was without point guard George Hill (upper respiratory
infection) for the second straight game, but it hardly mattered
against the 76ers. Philadelphia committed 31 turnovers, the most
since Golden State had 31 against Sacramento on Nov. 8, 2000.
Rookie guard T.J. McConnell had a season-high 16 points to lead
Philadelphia, the NBA's only winless team. The Sixers are five
losses away from equaling their franchise-record 0-17 start of a
year ago. They have also dropped 22 straight dating back to March
25, when they defeated Denver.
Philadelphia's 27 turnovers Monday against Dallas were the previous
high in the league this season. Wednesday's total resulted in 37
Indiana points.
Hornets 116, Nets 111
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Guard Nicolas Batum scored 24 points to lead
seven players in double figures, and Charlotte beat Brooklyn.
Batum bounced back after going 1 of 9 from the field for four points
in a loss at New York on Tuesday night. He had averaged 28.3 points
in three games last week to earn Eastern Conference player of the
week honors, including 33 in a win over Portland on Sunday.
The Hornets took control early in the fourth quarter after the teams
were tied 86-86 after three. Charlotte opened with a 13-4 run to
open the fourth, and never trailed again. Brooklyn got as close as
four and had a chance to cut the lead to two twice in the final
minute, but couldn't convert. Marvin Williams then ended the
suspense with two free throws for a 114-108 lead with 17.3 seconds
left.
Magic 104, Timberwolves 101 (OT)
ORLANDO -- Forward Evan Fournier scored 26 points, including a
game-winning 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds remaining, to lead the
Orlando Magic to a 104-101 overtime victory over the Minnesota
Timberwolves at Amway Arena.
Elfrid Payton added 24 points, including five in the overtime
period.
Andrew Wiggins had 28 points and hit 12 of 14 free throws to lead
the Timberwolves. Rookie Karl-Anthony Towns had 21 points and 12
rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season. Zach LaVine had
14 points and Kevin Martin had 12.
Mavericks 106, Celtics 102
BOSTON -- Dallas rallied from seven points down in the final 7 1/2
minutes and then held on for its fifth straight win, a decision over
Boston that ended the Celtics' three-game winning streak.
Deron Williams hit two straight baskets, one a 3-pointer, and then
set Zasa Pachulia up for a layup as the Mavs used a 9-0 run to take
control of the game.
Dallas rallied back from an 18-point first-quarter deficit, caught
up but couldn't go ahead -- Boston grabbing a seven-point lead with
7:58 remaining.
Hawks 103, Kings 97
ATLANTA -- Bolstered by Paul Millsap's sixth double-double of the
season, Atlanta ended a three-game losing streak with a win over
Sacramento.
Millsap was 9-for-19 from the field and scored 23 points. He added
16 rebounds, which matched his season high, as Atlanta ended
Sacramento's three-game winning streak and beat the Kings for the
15th straight time.
Millsap helped secure the win when he scored on a drive to the
basket with 15.7 seconds left to thwart a late Sacramento comeback
attempt.
Thunder 110, Pelicans 103
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Russell Westbrook scored 43 points to lead Oklahoma
City to a victory over New Orleans at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Thunder, who improved
to 7-5 on the season. The Pelicans' struggles continued as they
dropped to a league-worst 1-11.
Westbrook shot 14 of 25 from the field to go along with eight
assists and nine rebounds. Center Enes Kanter came off the Thunder
bench to pour in 24 points and 14 rebounds.
Spurs 109, Nuggets 98
SAN ANTONIO -- Tony Parker poured in a season-high 25 points, and
Kawhi Leonard added 20 points as San Antonio outshot Denver for its
sixth consecutive victory.
The Nuggets stayed within shouting distance early in the fourth
quarter as Kenneth Faried hit for two baskets and a free throw and
Jameer Nelson added a driving jumper. However, Leonard went to the
rim for a layup off a feed by David West and then hit a long
3-pointer to put the game out of reach.
The Spurs moved to 5-0 at home this season.
Rockets 108, Trail Blazers 103 (OT)
HOUSTON -- James Harden posted a double-double as Houston rallied
from a 17-point deficit to defeat Portland in overtime at Toyota
Center.
Harden finished with 45 points and 11 assists, scoring 26 points in
the fourth quarter and overtime to help the Rockets snap a four-game
losing streak in the debut of interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff, who
replaced fired Kevin McHale.
Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum finished with 19 points and hit a
timely 3-pointer with 4:54 left in regulation after two free throws
by Damian Lillard (23 points) halted an 8-0 Rockets run. Houston had
clawed to 83-81 before the Lillard free throws.
Jazz 93, Raptors 89
SALT LAKE CITY -- Derrick Favors scored 18 points, Gordon Hayward
added 17 points and the two forwards played key roles in Utah's
comeback victory over Toronto at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Favors, who also had 11 rebounds, had two dunks and hit two free
throws in the final 40 seconds to help secure the rare home win for
the Jazz. Hayward added nine points in the fourth quarter.
Luis Scola scored a season-high 22 points and Kyle Lowry contributed
20 points for Toronto, which dropped its third game in a row on a
five-game Western swing.
Bulls 103, Suns 97
PHOENIX -- Jimmy Butler scored 14 of his season-high 32 points in
the fourth quarter, and Chicago won its fourth consecutive game.
Kirk Hinrich, starting in place of Derrick Rose (sprained left
ankle), added 14 points and five assists in 24 minutes for Chicago.
The Bulls improved to 6-1 in their past seven trips to Phoenix
dating back to 2007.
Phoenix's Brandon Knight scored 23 points, Eric Bledsoe had 21
points and seven assists, and P.J. Tucker added 20 points.
