LINCOLN
- The Logan County Department of Public Health and the Logan County
Park District are now taking reservations for booths at the 2016
Wellness Expo, to be held February 19th and 20th at the Park District.

The Fifth Grade Wellness Expo, attended by all fifth graders in
Logan County (approximately 400 children) will be held Friday,
February 19, 2016 at the Indoor Sports Complex, from 8:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m.
The 5th Grade Wellness Expo requires exhibitors to give eight minute
presentations to groups of three to five students. Students will
rotate every eight minutes. In order to allow exhibitors time to
present information, it is important that all exhibitors keep the
students busy for eight minutes. Exhibitors will give presentations
to approximately 100 students, and an additional 300 students may
browse through the booths.
The Community Wellness Expo will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016
from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Park District Sports
Complex. Booths will be open to the community for browsing. Last
year approximately 1500 people attended. The theme this year is
“What does Wellness Mean to You?” One eight-foot table and two
chairs will be provided, unless specified otherwise on registration
forms. The use of table clothes or covers is recommended. To protect
the Park District facility, no food or drinks except water will be
allowed in the exhibit area. Please do not give away food, drinks
or candy.
