Wide receiver White was the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL
Draft. He will be limited early as he works back from surgery to
repair a stress fracture in his left tibia.
The Bears will have 21 days, beginning Tuesday, to add White to the
active roster or shut him down for the year. White is on the
reserve/physically unable to perform list.

Quarterback Sam Bradford was back on the practice field for a light
workout with the Philadelphia Eagles, but offensive coordinator Pat
Shurmur downplayed the significance of his attendance at the team
walkthrough.
Bradford threw passes on the side and is optimistic he can play
Thursday at Detroit just 10 days after he separated his left
shoulder and suffered a concussion in Week 10.
Mark Sanchez started last week in a blowout loss at the hands of the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is 4-5 as a starter with the Eagles.

The Seattle Seahawks placed linebacker Nick Moody on injured
reserve, released defensive tackle A.J. Francis and signed running
back Bryce Brown and wide receiver B.J. Daniels to the 53-man active
roster.
Tackle Terry Poole was placed on the practice squad/injured reserve.
The team also signed running back DuJuan Harris and wide receiver
Tyler Slavin to the practice squad.

The NFL suspended Carolina Panthers defensive Frank Alexander
without pay for a minimum of one year for violating the Policy and
Program for Substances of Abuse for a third time.
He is the third Panthers player to be suspended this week.
Alexander, who is on injured reserve, was suspended twice last
season for substance abuse violations.

Jimmy Clausen was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Ravens,
reuiniting the quarterback with Marc Trestman.
Clausen played for Trestman, who was head coach of the Chicago
Bears, last season.
The Ravens placed Joe Flacco on injured reserve with torn ligaments
in his knee.

The San Francisco 49ers signed quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson
and linebacker Kevin Snyder to the team's practice squad.
Bethel-Thompson originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted
free agent in 2011. Following his release from the team, he spent
time with the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and New England
Patriots practice squads.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced they have been awarded defensive
end Kourtnei Brown via waivers from the Houston Texans.
Brown (6-foot-4, 253 pounds) played one game while on Tampa Bay's
active roster earlier this season and played one game with Houston.
