”We are pleased that Archer Daniels Midland Company has chosen to
partner with The Oasis Senior Center. Use of our facility has grown
and with additional tables and chairs, being provided by ADM, more
seniors will be able to enjoy the Center through their generosity,”
said Dom Dalpoas, Executive Director of The Oasis.
The Oasis was founded in 1984 by a group of seniors in the
community. It has continued to develop over the years with a current
membership of over 1,000. The average age of members is 72 years,
but there is no age limit to join.
The Oasis Mission: To provide a place where senior citizens as
individual or in groups come together for services and activities
which enhance their dignity, support independence and encourage
their involvement in and with the community.[to top of second

The donation was given through ADM Cares. ADM Cares is a social investment
program that directs funds to initiatives and organizations that drive
meaningful social, economic and environmental progress worldwide. The program
comprises three distinct focus areas: supporting the responsible development of
agriculture, improving the quality of life in ADM communities and fostering
employee giving and volunteer activities.
