You can Help Local Organization, Love Repeated, "Ship the Stuff '

[October 09, 2015]  LINCOLN - Love Repeated, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to support educational, health, development, and relief efforts in the Rulenge-Ngara Diocese of Tanzania, East Africa is kicking off a fall campaign effort entitled, "Ship the Stuff ' with the goal of shipping a container of much needed medical supplies to the District Hospital in the city of Biharamulo.

Love Repeated will partner with another non-profit agency, The Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach, in Springfield, who care for people in need through recovery and world-wide distribution of life-saving medical supplies and equipment, They will generously provide the medical supplies and Love Repeated will provide the funds for shipping.

Join Love Repeated on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Carroll Catholic School from 8:00 a.m. until noon for a kick-off breakfast and to learn more about our organization and initiative. The event will have representatives on hand from both Love Repeated and the Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach. The breakfast will include: sausage biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sweet rolls, fruit, and beverages. Free will donations will be accepted.

Love Repeated was co-founded by Fr. Simon Taabu, a native of Tanzania, currently in-residence at Holy Family Parish in Lincoln, and Nancy Davis of Elkhart. After traveling to Tanzania in 2013, Ms. Davis felt compelled to do something to meet the many needs of the people of Tanzania, particularly the children. The organization sponsored 45 students for education in 2015 and has in the past provided an emergency medical fund to help meet the most dire medical needs.
