LC Coach Mark Tippett:
"This was a very exciting match to watch. Both teams are
athletic and play hard on defense, which is a recipe for long
volleys and intensity on the court. I can't fault our effort or
say we beat ourselves tonight. They had a couple of very tough
servers and were able to outlast us on a few key points that
turned the match in their favor. Despite the loss, I thought our
team performed well and had fun on the court, which is great to
see at this point of the season."
On Saturday, LC will participate in a triangular set of matches
at Joliet Junior College.
