Guests will meet at By the Bean located at 113 s. Kickapoo St. at
3:00 p.m. for samples of their menu. The tour will begin at 3:30
p.m. sharp. The tour will end at Integrity Data for Guzzardo’s
pizza. This event is adult focused and may be dangerous for young
children due to the condition of some of the lofts.
Attendees will be led through downtown lofts and businesses to learn
the not-so-well-known facts about each space. David Lanterman will
act as tour guide again this year and with his vast knowledge, this
is sure to be a great event. This experience is both entertaining
and enriching. It gives attendees a fantastic opportunity to peer
into the past of Lincoln’s historical downtown, uncovering secrets
and unknowns around every corner and in every nook and cranny. The
history of these spaces will come to life through actor portrayals
in 1920’s and 30’s period attire. Guests will be greeted by ghosts
of the city’s past. Guests should be dressed appropriately for the
weather, we will be walking to all locations. We also ask that all
participants wear closed toed shoes for safety.
