LHP David Price will get his second start of the AL Championship Series in Game 6 on Friday at Kauffman Stadium. The timing could not be better for the Blue Jays if he could get his first win as a starter in postseason play. He is 2-7 with a 5.24 ERA in 13 career postseason outings, but he is 0-7 with a 5.43 ERA in seven postseason starts. Price deserved a better fate in Game 2 of the ALCS. He was cruising until 2B Ryan Goins pulled up on a popup to short right field that he should have caught easily. That led to a five-run Royals rally and a 6-3 Kansas City win. Price is 1-2 with a 7.02 ERA in three postseason outings this year, two of them starts. His win came in three innings of relief against the Rangers in Game 4 of the AL Division Series. He is 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA in six career regular-season outings against the Royals, including five starts.

The mark of homering in five straight playoff games was set by Carlos Beltran with the Astros in 2004. Murphy's four home runs are the most by a Mets player in a single postseason series in franchise history. His five extra-base hits in the NLCS are tied for the second most by a Mets player in a single postseason series, trailing only Carlos Delgado's six in the 2006 NLCS. Murphy went 4-for-5 in the series clincher, giving him a .529 average (9-for-17) in the NLCS.

Entering Game 4 of the NL Championship Series, Duda was 3-for-24 with one RBI in eight games this postseason, but he went 3-for-4 Wednesday.
