The girls went out on a high note with a 25-15 and 25-20 win over
Auburn while both posted solid performances on the court. Davis had
9 kills, 1 block and 7 digs and Pickett finished with 3 kills, 2
blocks and 5 digs.
Dulle was proud of the ladies after the game and is excited about
the rest of the season. "I think they are both playing really well.
They are bringing what we need to this team in leadership and
aggressive play. I think that the other kids respond to what they
do. Lilly has been hitting the ball very well for us and she is just
a joy to have on the team. Maddy is just a character and a very good
player, too. We have just enjoyed them both this year."
The seniors season on the court is not over yet as Mount Pulaski
hosts its own tournament this Saturday at the Ed Butkovich Gymnasium
and the team will begin regional action next week.
