Obituary
Doris M. Lenhardt, 89, of Lincoln passed away at
12:55 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2015 at Symphony of
Lincoln, Lincoln.
Doris was born December 24, 1925 in Atlanta, the
daughter of Clifford and Ruth Frantz Klemm. She
married Ray P. Lenhardt Aug. 7, 1948 in
Jeffersonville, IN. He survives in Lincoln.
Doris is also survived by one son: Edwin (Nancy)
Lenhardt of Atlanta; grandchildren: Jim (Amanda)
Dickson of McLean, and Andy (Amanda Park) Dickson of
Bloomington; great-grandchildren Jayden, Brady,
Beau, and Benjamin; one niece and four nephews.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her son,
Dennis R. Lenhardt, two brothers; Clarence and Dale,
two sisters; Marcia and Donna, and one great-grand
daughter, Alivia Gibson.
Doris loved to go camping and fishing, she also
enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a bookkeeper for
many years at First National Bank in Lincoln. Above
all else Doris loved spending time with her family. |
Services for Doris will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday
October 23, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln with Rev. Candida Turner
officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 22, 2015 at the funeral
home. Burial will follow the services at Zion
Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made in
Doris’ name to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lincoln
or The American Heart Association.
The family would like to extend their thanks for
everyone’s thoughts and prayers during this time.
They would also like to thank the nurses and staff
at Symphony of Lincoln for their dedicated service.
