[October 26, 2015]  LINCOLN - Dolly Duvall Smith, 46, of Concord, NC formerly of Lincoln passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015, at 5:32 p.m. E.S.T. at a Carolina Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.

Visitation:  Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln

Service: Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home

Dolly Duvall Smith, 46, of Concord, NC formerly of Lincoln passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015, at 5:32 p.m. E.S.T. at a Carolina Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.

Visitation will be held on October 24 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Peasley Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Dolly will be held on Saturday, October 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln with Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

Dolly Duvall was born on August 26, 1969, in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of Robert Clarence and Nancy Scamordella Duvall. She was united in marriage to Douglas Franklin Smith on June 5, 1993, in Lincoln. He survives.

 

Also surviving are her son: Ricky (Krystle) McEvers of Concord, NC, three brothers; Robert (Vicki) Duvall, David (Jona Vacca) Duvall, and Clarence Duvall all of Lincoln; and two grandsons; Trenton and Jaedyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Dolly graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1987 and later from St. Petersburg College in Florida.

She had three shining lights that she followed in life, Trenton, Jaedyn, and Clarence, her light will now shine above for us all to follow. Her soul touched many lives, those of us that were lucky enough to know her understand.

She enjoyed running, exercising, yoga, hiking, reading, helping others, animals, and spending time with her family.
