LC Coach Mark Tippett: "We played a very good team today and
gave them a real run for their money. Set one was back and forth
and could have gone either way. In set two, we spotted them to
an early 8 point lead, but battled our way back to tie it up at
22. It's too bad we fell short of completing the comeback, but
to overcome such a deficit showed a lot of heart from our
players. Set three was another close one, but Sauk was very
tough on defense. The ability of their back court defenders to
keep the ball off the floor was probably the difference in the
match. Despite the loss in their final home match, our sophomore
have had great careers here. They have represented themselves
and the program extremely well, and I am proud to have coached
each of them."
