University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist volunteers
will lead the hikes and feature information on the changing
conditions in the park during the fall season.

Master Naturalist Jim Struebing said, “A number of parents have
inquired about utilizing Kickapoo Creek Park as an education
resource and that’s the mission of Master Naturalists, to educate
people about nature and encourage stewardship.” The hikes will
geared toward parents and youth ages 8 to 16 year olds.
