Canucks 5, Canadiens 1
Rookie center Jared McCann scored two goals, and the Vancouver

Buffalo Sabres.
Right winger Derek Dorsett had a goal and an assist for Vancouver,
who ended a four-game losing skid and improved to 4-2-3. Right

Stars 4, Ducks 3
Antoine Roussel scored off a rebound with 1:28 remaining, and the
Dallas Stars defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-3 at American Airlines
Center.
Anaheim led 3-0 after a period before Dallas responded in the second
to make it 3-3 after 40 minutes.
Roussel's goal, his first of the season, came after Ducks goaltender
Frederik Andersen denied an initial shot by Stars center Vernon
Fiddler. Roussel was waiting at the near post to pounce, and he
poked the puck into the back of the net. (Compiled by Peter
