Scooby-Doo
checks out the selection of prizes Thursday night at
the Lincoln Park District Halloween FunFest. This
year's event will surely be dubbed as a howling
success as hundreds of folks turned out early and
stayed the entire time visiting a wide array of game
booths, and participating in the annual costume
contests. Newly appointed Executive Director, John
Andrews, and newly hired Events Coordinator, Lauren
Ruckman, both said they were very pleased with the
turnout this year. Lincoln Daily News will feature
dozens of photos of the event in the Saturday
edition.
