Mount Pulaski and Hartsburg-Emden pick up Regional Championships

[October 30, 2015]  Mount Pulaski defeated New Berlin 25-19 and 25-10 Thursday night to win the Class 1A Regional Championship at Edinburg. Mount Pulaski has now won 31 Regional Championships during Coach Donna Dulle's career.

Meanwhile Hartsburg-Emden downed Roanoke-Benson in two sets, 25-17 and 25-17 to win the Class 1A Regional Championship at Roanoke. Coach Jennifer Hayes now has 12 regional championships to her credit at Hartem.

The two Class 1A volleyball powerhouses advance to sectional play next week with Mount Pulaski playing Hardin Calhoun Tuesday night at 6 p.m. in Pawnee and Hartem taking on Augustana Southeastern Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Lewistown. Good luck to both teams.
