The Pelicans could be interested in signing Toney Douglas, ESPN.com
reported. Douglas is available after being waived by the Indiana
			Pacers.

The 31-year-old Robinson did not score a point in the Pelicans'
first two games and took only one shot from the field but had four
assists, one steal and five fouls in 23 combined minutes.

Despite a rash of injuries to their point guards, the Pelicans
considered Robinson expendable. Jrue Holiday is playing restricted
minutes and Tyreke Evans is out two months due to a knee injury.
Norris Cole (ankle) is also hobbled.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers could face disciplinary
action from the NBA after an incident on Wednesday night at Sleep
			Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif.

In the fourth quarter of the Clippers' season-opening 111-104 win
against the Sacramento Kings, Rivers flung a seat cushion into the
stands that hit a fan, who appeared to experience discomfort around
her eyes for an extended period.

Fans in the second-row area near where the woman was struck
expressed concern and created a stir.

Burden's wife, Cydney, posted the news on Facebook. He was
hospitalized last week in the Winston-Salem area after a reaction to
anesthesia before cataract surgery at Wake Forest Medical Center.

The 6-foot-2 Burden, a native of Albany, N.Y., spent two seasons
with the Knicks, averaging 5.5 points in 63 games, after playing for
the Virginia Squires in the old American Basketball Association and
averaging 19.9 points during the 1975-76 season.

At Utah, Burden scored 1,790 points, sixth best in school history.
He averaged 28.7 points during the 1974-75 season, when he was named
to the Associated Press All-America team.
