LINCOLN
- For the first time, Becker's Hospital Review has published a list
of "50 Critical Access Hospitals to Know" in the United States and
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Illinois has been named to
the list.
|
Out of the 1,332 critical access hospitals in the United States, the
list features 50 that have demonstrated excellence in caring for
their communities. Providing quality healthcare in a rural setting
presents its own set of specific challenges, but these organizations
are rising above to meet the needs of their patients.
The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals for
inclusion based on awards and recognitions they have received.
Specifically, the team looked at iVantage Health Analytics' list of
Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals, the National Rural Health
Association's list of Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals, patient
satisfaction scores from CMS' Hospital Compare and various
Healthgrades awards.
“We are thrilled and humbled to be recognized as one of the 50
critical access hospitals to know in the United States. Recognitions
such as Becker’s speak directly to our vision of becoming a national
leader for excellence in patient care. More importantly for our
patients, however, is knowing that the healthcare team at ALMH
consistently provides better treatment and better outcomes,” said
Dolan Dalpoas, ALMH President/CEO.
