Obituary
Irma Jacob, 91, of Lincoln formerly of San Jose,
passed away at 10:58 p.m. on August 29, 2015 in her
home surrounded by her loving family.
Irma was born March 2, 1924 in Green Valley, the
daughter of Louis and Cora Dean Griffin. Irma was
the youngest of ten children. She married Dallas
Jacob in St. Charles MO on August 4, 1940. They had
just celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. He
survives.
Irma is also survived by her children; Gary (Cathy)
Jacob of Lincoln, Linda (Thomas) Hashman of Lincoln,
and Robert (Dorinda) Jacob of Beason; Her
grandchildren; Dean, Sarah, Kevin, Paula (Steven)
Crawford, Coralee (Brian) Stoltzenburg, and Darren;
and her Great-grandchildren; Zachary, Evan, Emma,
and Kate. Irma is preceded in death by her son,
Larry Jacob.

Irma was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church
in Lincoln, as well as a member of the Lin-Pro
Square Dance Club. Irma also loved to spend time in
her garden. Above all else, Irma loved her family.
She will be sorely missed by anyone who was
fortunate enough to have known her.
Services for Irma will be Friday, September 4, 2015
at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will
be Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will follow at Mason City Cemetery.
Memorials donations in Irma’s name may be made to
Zion Lutheran church.
