Obituary
Doris “LaVonne” Kraft, 84, of
Springfield, formerly of Mount Pulaski, passed away
at 4:38 p.m. Monday August 31, 2015 in her home.
LaVonne was born on May 17,
1931, the daughter of Vernon and Coleen (Majors)
Coffman. She married Jack Kraft on August 9, 1952.
He preceded her in death in 2012. LaVonne was a
homemaker, realtor, and she helped Jack farm.
LaVonne is survived by her
children; her sons, Kelly Kraft of Taylorville,
Larry (Debbie) Kraft of Illiopolis, and Perry
(Nadine) Kraft of Springfield, her daughters, Sandra
(Dan) Maher of Springfield, and Linda (Kevin)
Hatfield of Carterville, her sisters, Jeanette
Coffman of Decatur, and Sue (Dale) Maddox of Oreana,
her brothers-In-law, Wayne Kraft of Decatur, and
Merle (Kak) Kraft of Decatur, her sister-In-law,
Charlotte Kraft of Decatur. She is also survived by
her sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband, her sister Kathleen Corman, and several
brothers and sisters-In-law.
Services for LaVonne will be at
10:00 a.m. Saturday September 5, 2015 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski with Rev. Roger Ross officiating.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00-7:00
p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in
Steenbergen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made
in LaVonne’s name to Shriners Children’s Hospital or
The First United Methodist Church of Springfield.
