The Illinois Raptor Center offers special program for senior citizens

[September 01, 2015]  DECATUR - The Illinois Raptor Center is offering a special program for senior citizens on Wednesday, September 2nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its nature center at 5685 W. Hill Road in Decatur.

Participants will be introduced to live birds of preys (hawks, falcons, owls and eagles) through educational instruction and “hands-on encounters”. The program will include raptor identification, natural history, and the experience of a lifetime.

The registration price per person will include materials, morning and afternoon refreshments, and lunch.
