Christian Village honors Chaplain Interns

[September 09, 2015]  The residents and
staff of The Christian Village came together in July to honor Kurt Walker from
Hopedale Mennonite Church and Jeri Dennis, from Holy Family Parish in Lincoln, for their contributions as Chaplain Interns for 2014-2015.

As students in the Clinical Pastoral Education program, sponsored by Christian Homes, Inc., Kurt and Jeri provided between them over 500 hours of volunteer service providing pastoral care to residents and staff.

The Christian Village offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, respite care and hospice care. Garden homes and apartments also are available for independent older adults.
