			LINCOLN
			- Are you aware that the better off women are, the better off their
children and families are, and in turn, the better the communities
they live in are? Do you have a heart for impacting the lives of
			women around the globe?

Join Zonta Club of Lincoln and Zonta International as a member,
and become part of a group of more than 30,000 individuals who are
working together to change the lives of women and girls in their
local communities and around the world.
Zonta Club meetings are held once a month from September through
June where members conduct service and advocacy projects to improve
women’s lives in a variety of ways.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in Lincoln
beginning at 6 p.m. with a dinner served and a speaker on various
topics affecting women locally and globally. Membership dues are
$110 per year plus a $12 dinner fee for each meeting attended.
Zonta International seeks to empower women worldwide by improving
the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional
status of women at the global and local levels through service and
advocacy. The Zonta Club of Lincoln strives to fulfill those goals
in multiple ways. Several local scholarships are given each year,
including the Young Women in Public Affairs Award with the goal of
encouraging more young women to participate in public and political
			life.
Zonta Club of Lincoln sponsors the Golden Z Club of the
University of Illinois with the mission of assisting university
students in developing leadership skills, exploring career options,
and participating in local and international community service
			projects.

Women”, a Zonta International campaign to raise awareness of and increase
actions to end violence against women and girls around the world. Several other
