2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

Warren “Robbie” Robinson, 86, passed away Monday,
September 7, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, Lincoln.
Warren was born July 16, 1929 in Jamaica, Iowa. He
is survived by his wife, Wava, a son Michael
“Mickey” (Donna) Robinson of Lincoln, a daughter
Wanda (Perry) Winebrinner of Lincoln, two
granddaughters, five step grandchildren, two great
granddaughters and eight step grandchildren, one
step great-great grandson, and several nieces and
nephews.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, a great
grandson, his parents, six brothers and four
sisters. He was the last surviving member of his
family.
Warren was a Navy Veteran of twenty-six years. He
retired in August 1972. He served in the Korean War
and two tours in Viet Nam. He was an avid Chicago
Cub fan, New York Yankee fan and Dallas Cowboy fan.
He enjoyed bowling and was in several leagues. He
moved to Lincoln from Norfolk, Virginia in 1983 to
be closer to his grandchildren. He worked at Lincoln
College in the maintenance department. |
Warren wishes to be cremated with no services. His
cremains will be buried next to his daughter at a
later date in Dexter, Iowa.
Memorials may be made to Memorial Home Services
Hospice Program. Services were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
