							2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln.  
							Service:  Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the

							Obituary 
							 Elda M. Mahler, 91, of Lincoln, passed away 
							Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Abraham Lincoln 
							Memorial Hospital.  
							 
							Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
							Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Zion Lutheran 
							Church, Lincoln. Funeral services will follow at 11 
							a.m. also at the church with Pastor Mark Thompson 
							officiating. Burial will follow at New Union 
							Cemetery, Lincoln. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral 
							Home in Lincoln is handling services. 
							 
							Elda was born April 30, 1924, in Lincoln, the 
							daughter of John and Minnie (Hoffert) Mahler.  
							 
							She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church 
							in Lincoln. She worked for US Corrugated and Boise 
							Cascade box factories, retiring after 32 years of 
							service. Elda was an avid Lincoln Railer Basketball 
							Fan and was inducted into their hall of fame. She 
							was also an avid Chicago Cubs Baseball Fan. She 
							enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and had framed many of her 
							works.  | 
							
							 
  
							Surviving are her God Children Michael (Jana) 
							Huelskoetter of Chatham, and Kenda (Joe) Jones of 
							Beason. 
							 
							She was preceded in death by her parents. 
							 
							Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran 
							Church, Lincoln.
