LC Coach Mark Tippett:
"This turned out to be a very intense match. Both teams made each
other work hard for every point, and I was impressed with the way
our players stood up to the pressure.
"We were able to build early leads in each set, but Lindenwood never
gave up and managed to fight their way back into each one of them.
"Our blockers did a great job at the net, especially middle hitters
Lauren Wendt and Aira Hanson. Hanson was filling in again for our
regular middle, Peyton Jones, and she did a great job.

"Ashley Robinson also came up big for us behind the service line
serving over 30 times in the match and not missing a singe one. She
and fellow sophomore setter Cassie Jennings kept our hitters busy
and frehman Kenzie Cooper was just about unstoppable on the leftside.
"This was a real team effort tonight and a win to be proud of."
LC is off this weekend and plays next at home next Wednesday at 6:00
pm against Lincoln Land CC.
