Obituary
Louise J. Hardin, 89, passed away at 6:35 p.m. at
St.Clara’s Manor of Lincoln, on September 19, 2015.
Louise was born on February 20, 1926 in Lincoln;
daughter of George and Edith Faul Eimer. She married
William Hardin on September 6, 1946 in Lincoln; he
preceded her in death on May 14, 2011.
She is Survived by her children; Jayne (Peter)
Hintzman of Bloomington, Dan (Debi) Hardin of
Lincoln, Thomas Hardin of Springfield, Michael
(Bear) Hardin of Willimantic, CT, Phillip (Michelle)
Hardin of Aurora, IL; one brother: Harold (Pat)
Eimer of Lincoln, IL; one sister, Francis Reichle of
Dubuque, IA; ten grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her parents, one brother Ralph Eimer, and one
grandson John.

Louise was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church
in Lincoln, and a member of Zonta Women’s Club of
Lincoln, and she also worked alongside her husband
Bill, where she was co-owner of Hardin Photography
in Lincoln for many years.
Services for Louise will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday
September 26, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church in
Lincoln with Father Jeffrey Laible officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service
(10-11 a.m.) also at the church. Burial at St.
Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln will follow the service.
Memorials may be made in Louise’s name to The Holy
Family Catholic Church of Lincoln or St. Clara’s
Manor of Lincoln. Services are entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
