Powers has worked at ALMH for 16 years. In her role in the patient
access department she is oftentimes the first face to greet
patients. Powers completes preregistration for surgeries and
outpatient procedures. She also helps patients check-in for
diagnostic testing including x-rays and laboratory tests.
Powers was nominated anonymously for the recognition and selected by
the ALMH employee activity committee. Her nominator wrote, “Diane is
always positive and appreciated by everyone…co-workers, volunteers,
and patients. She has put in a lot of extra hours and effort to keep
patient access running smoothly this year. She is a real team player
and is very easy to work with.”
Powers is proud to serve patients with their registration needs and
does it with a smile. “ALMH is a great place to work because of the
small hospital setting. I am close to my co-workers, we are like a
family and that helps us provide great service to our patients,”
said Powers.
