Obituary
LATHAM - Victor M. Buth, 93, of Latham passed away
at 6:33 A.M. Sunday March 27, 2016 at Decatur
Memorial Hospital.
Victor was born on November 11, 1922 in Shobonier,
IL to Albert and Mathilde Rubin Buth. He married
Mabel Volle on April 1, 1945 in Decatur. She
preceded him in death on February 3, 1998.
Surviving are four children, Martin (Kathleen) Buth
of Freeport, Ellis (Karen) Buth of Warrensburg,
Vicci (William) Jackle of Germantown, OH; Mary
(Robert) Lemburg of Sparta, WI; eleven
grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents and two brothers:
Walter and Arthur.

Victor was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in
Decatur and was also a retired farmer.
Services for Victor will be 10:00 a.m. Friday April
1, 2016 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church with Rev. William
Abbott officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m.
Thursday March 31, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Burial at Laenna
Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be
given to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or Latham Fire
Department.
