PITTSBURGH -- Matt Murray made 28
saves to win for the second day in a row, Sidney Crosby scored yet
another goal against Philadelphia and the Pittsburgh Penguins remained
the NHL's hottest team, defeating the Flyers 6-2 on Sunday.

The Penguins won a season high-tying sixth in a row and 12th in 13
games to cool off the Flyers, who were on a 13-3-2 surge that
elevated them to the Eastern Conference's No. 2 wild-card position.
Eric Fehr scored the final two goals with Pittsburgh up big in the
third period and Beau Bennett, Patric Hornqvist and Carl Hagelin
also scored for the Penguins, who got at least one goal from each of
their four lines while opening leads of 3-0 and 4-1 against goalie
Steve Mason.
Wayne Simmonds ended Murray's 122:05 scoreless streak by scoring in
the final minute of the second period. Jakub Voracek also scored for
Philadelphia.
Blackhawks 6, Bruins 4
CHICAGO -- Patrick Kane scored a hat trick and dished an assist to
reach the 100-point milestone for the first time in his career, and
Chicago held on for a win over Boston.
Artemi Panarin scored a goal and tallied three assists and Artem
Anisimov also scored for the Blackahaks.
Patrice Bergeron tallied two goals and an assist, Brad Marchand
contributed a goal and an assist and David Pastrnak scored for the
Bruins.
Jets 5, Wild 1
WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Andrew Copp, Drew Stafford and Blake Wheeler
scored third-period goals to solidify Winnipeg win over Minnesota at
MTS Centre.
Mark Scheifele and Chris Thorburn also scored for the Jets.
Mikael Granlund scored the Wild's lone goal.
Blues 5, Avalanche 1
DENVER -- David Backes scored early in a three-goal first period,
Vladimir Tarasenko had two assists, and St. Louis beat reeling
Colorado.

Alex Pietrangelo, Troy Brouwer, Colton Parayko and Magnus Paajarvi
also had goals for the Blues, who lost goalie Jake Allen to an
undisclosed injury.
Matt Duchene scored his 30th goal late in the third for the
Avalanche and Calvin Pickard had 23 saves in relief of Semyon
Varlamov, who was pulled after allowing three goals on 14 shots in
the first period.
Ducks 3, Stars 1
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Nate Thompson and Ryan Kesler scored short-handed
goals to give Anaheim a victory over Dallas at the Honda Center.
Ryan Getzlaf added an empty-net goal and John Gibson stopped 25
shots for the Ducks, who used their fourth win in five games to move
into first place in the Pacific Division by one point over the idle
Los Angeles Kings.
The Stars, despite getting a late goal from Radek Faksa, watched
their four-game winning streak end and their lead in the Central
Division shrink to two points over the second-place St. Louis Blues
and four points over the Chicago Blackhawks.
