			Lincoln passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 9:20 p.m. at HSHS 
			St. John's Hospital in Springfield.  |

							Obituary 
							Diane M. Baker, 59, of Lincoln passed away on 
							Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 9:20 p.m. at HSHS St. 
							John's Hospital in Springfield.
 A Memorial Service for Diane will be held on 
							Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley 
							Funeral Home in Lincoln.
 
 Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until time of 
							service Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.
 
 Cremation rites have been accorded.
 
 Diane Marie Baker was born on October 8, 1956 in 
							Lincoln the daughter of Lee James and Lois Mae Neal 
							Denney. She was united in marriage to Robert Marlin 
							Baker Jr. on July 12, 1974 at the St. John's United 
							Church of Christ in Lincoln.
 
 Also surviving are her sisters: Clara (Terry) 
							Charron, Linda (Dan) Denlinger, Sharon Denney. Many 
							Nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews also 
							survive.
 
 Diane was a member of St. John's United Church of 
							Christ in Lincoln.

							She graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 
							1974 and Lincoln Land Community College.
 She was retired from SIU School of Medicine as an 
							accountant.
 
 Diane was a great lover of cats, music and 
							literature. She was a very kind and giving person, 
							always thinking of others first.
