The Warriors surpassed the 72-win total of the 1995-96 Chicago
Bulls, a mark Golden State equaled Sunday in San Antonio.
Klay Thompson contributed 16 points, including four 3-pointers, for
the Warriors, who shot 20-for-47 from beyond the arc and outscored
the Grizzlies 60-24 on threes.
Harrison Barnes hit six of 10 from the field en route to 15 points,
and Draymond Green connected on four of eight on an 11-point night.
Zach Randolph had a team-high 24 points for the Grizzlies, who will
enter the playoffs on a four-game losing streak. Lance Stephenson
(22), JaMychal Green (12) and Jarell Martin (11) all scored in
double figures off the Memphis bench.
Lakers 101, Jazz 96
LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 60 points, and Los
Angeles used a late rally to stun Utah at Staples Center.
Bryant, who had 23 points in the final quarter, finished shooting
22-of-50 from the floor and six of 21 from 3-point range. Jordan
Clarkson chipped in 12 points for the Lakers and was the only Los
Angeles player to reach double figures other than Bryant.
Trey Lyles had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Jazz, who lost
their bid for a postseason berth before tip-off when the Houston
Rockets claimed a win over the Sacramento Kings for the final seed
in the Western Conference. Gordon Hayward added 17 points for Utah.
Rockets 116, Sacramento 81
HOUSTON -- James Harden capped a marvelous statistical season and
Houston claimed the final playoff berth in the Western Conference
with a win over Sacramento at Toyota Center.
Harden finished with 38 points and joined Oscar Robertson, Michael
Jordan and LeBron James as the only players to average 29 points,
six rebounds and seven assists in a season.
Dwight Howard added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Houston. Patrick
Beverley had nine points and a career-high 12 assists.
Ben McLemore paced the Kings with 24 points. Kosta Koufos added a
double-double of 12 points and 11 assists.
Hornets 117, Magic 103
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Al Jefferson scored 26 points and Charlotte held
off a second-half rally to beat Orlando in their regular-season
finale.
Troy Daniels had 13 points, Spencer Hawes and Jeremy Lamb added 12
points apiece, Marvin Williams scored 11 and Jeremy Lin 10 for the
Hornets.
Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier scored 22 points apiece, Nikola
Vucevic added 17 and Herzonja had 10 for the Magic.
Timberwolves 144, Pelicans 109
MINNEAPOLIS -- In the final game of the season for both teams,
Minnesota routed visiting New Orleans at Target Center.
Timberwolves rookie Karl-Anthony Towns, the apparent front-runner
for the NBA's Rookie of the Year award, had 28 points -- 20 in the
first half -- and 14 rebounds to lead the way. Towns finished his
first year in the NBA with 51 double-doubles in 82 games. He came
out of Wednesday's game to a standing ovation with 6:21 remaining in
the fourth quarter, embracing Mitchell on the bench as he exited.
James Ennis led the way for the Pelicans with 28 points, while Omer
Asik scored 24 in the loss.
Pacers 97, Bucks 92
MILWAUKEE -- Solomon Hill scored 22 points as Indiana wrapped up the
regular season with a victory over Milwaukee at the Bradley Center.
Rodney Stuckey scored 12 and Glenn Robison III had 14 off the bench
for the Pacers, who shot only 43 percent for the game but made 11 of
24 3-pointer attempts.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 19 and added nine rebounds
and five assists while Jabari Parker added 17 with seven boards.
Raptors 103, Nets 96
NEW YORK -- Rookie Norman Powell scored a career-high 30 points as
Toronto concluded the best regular-season in team history by
rallying from an early deficit for a victory over Brooklyn.
Powell, who has thrived with increased playing time in recent weeks,
shot 12-of-18 from the field and made eight straight attempts at one
point. He set career highs for field goals, 3-pointers (5) and
rebounds (9) while playing 36 minutes. Reserve Terrence Ross added
24 for the Raptors.
Bojan Bogdanovic made seven 3-pointers and scored 29 points for the
Nets, who had nine available players due to rest and injuries. Sean
Kilpatrick added 12 points for Brooklyn, which has lost seven of
eight meetings with Toronto since beating them in the playoffs.

CHICAGO -- Nikola Mirotic scored a game-high 32 points and Chicago
rallied for a win over Philadelphia.

Justin Holiday added a career-high 29 points as the Bulls erased a
24-point, first-half deficit. Jimmy Butler posted his second career
triple-double with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Robert Covington scored a team-high 27 points on 7-for-17 shooting
for the 76ers. Hollis Thompson contributed 21 points off the bench.
Celtics 98, Heat 88
BOSTON -- Isaiah Thomas' 21 points led five Boston players in double
digits in a win over Miami.
Joe Johnson and Hassan Whitehead each had 19 points for the Heat,
who still secured the Southeast Division title and the third seed in
the East because of Atlanta's loss.
Pistons 112, Cavaliers 110 (OT)
CLEVELAND -- Jodie Meeks scored 20 points off the bench, and Detroit
beat Cleveland in overtime on a night when both teams sat nearly all
of their starters.
Jordan McRae scored a career-high 36 points in a career-high 47
minutes for the Cavaliers but missed two of three crucial free
throws in the final second with a chance to tie the game.
McRae scored seven points in the last 1:13 of regulation to tie the
game at 103 and force overtime. His 36 points were the second most
by a Cavs player this season. LeBron James scored 37 points on three
separate occasions.
Spurs 96, Mavericks 91
DALLAS -- San Antonio rallied from 18 points down to beat Dallas at
American Airlines Center.
Boban Marjanovic, filling in for Tim Duncan, scored 22 points on 7
of 9 shooting and 8 of 8 from the line, and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Jonathan Simmons scored a season-high 19. Kyle Anderson scored 15.
Raymond Felton scored 22 off the bench to lead the Mavericks, with
Dirk Nowitzki adding 19 points.
Wizards 109, Hawks 98
WASHINGTON -- Washington defeated full-strength Atlanta in the
regular season finale for both teams.
Even without John Wall, Bradley Beal, Markieff Morris and Marcin
Gortat, the Wizards their third straight game in what could be the
final contest with coach Randy Wittman. Ramon Sessions led
Washington with 22 points and his layup started a decisive 19-5 run
for a 103-87 lead with 4:44 remaining.
Al Horford had 19 points for the Hawks. Jeff Teague scored 16
points, and Paul Millsap had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the
Hawks.
Suns 114, Clippers 105
PHOENIX -- Mirza Teletovic led seven players in double figures with
22 points as Phoenix closed out a disappointing season with a win
against Los Angeles.
Jon Leuer had 16 points and 14 rebounds and Alan Williams added 14
points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who finished with a 23-59
record, the second-worst record in the franchise's 48-year history.
Phoenix won three of its final four games.
Teletovic had two 3-pointers Wednesday and finished with 179 for the
season, a new NBA record for 3-pointers by a reserve.
Wesley Johnson scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers for the
Clippers, who played without starters Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan,
Chris Paul and J.J. Redick and sixth man Jamal Crawford. Austin
Rivers and C.J. Wilcox had 16 points each for Los Angeles, which
finished as the fourth seed in the Western Conference and will face
the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the playoffs.
Trail Blazers 107, Nuggets 99
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Damian Lillard scored 21 points in 24 minutes to
lead Portland past Denver in the regular-season finale for both
teams at the Moda Center.
CJ McCollum added 17 points and Allen Crabbe came off the bench for
16 for the Trail Blazers, who secured the No. 5 seed in the Western
Conference playoffs. Ten players joined the scoring parade for the
Blazers, including Brian Roberts with 14 and Al-Farouq Aminu with
10.
Emmanuel Mudiay had 25 points and Nikola Jokic collected 18 points
and 13 rebounds for the Nuggets.
