According to the New York Post, Manziel and a friend rented a
house in West Hollywood last week, promptly threw "two all-night
ragers" and when it was over, allegedly caused almost $32,000 in
damage to the $4.5 million property.
Los Angeles police responded to the home after noise complaints by
neighbors on April 6.
Manziel and his friends "were consuming drugs and alcohol" and
caused the damage to the home he rented out for two nights earlier
this month, according to a letter from the lawyer representing the
property owner that was obtained by USA TODAY Sports.
Manziel stayed at the home April 4-6 and agreed to pay an additional
$5,000 per night if there were more than 15 guests in the house.
Attorney Niki Ghazian is asking for $31,580 -- including $19,580 in
damage and replacement fees -- in a letter sent to Manziel's
attorney, Bradley Beckworth, on Monday.

The Los Angeles Rams now own the No. 1 pick and are expected to
draft a quarterback, either Cal quarterback Jared Goff or North
Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz.
"We've also done private workouts with Jared and with Carson
already," Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday. "We did those
at the end of February, early March. We were the first ones in.
"We're familiar with both of them in addition to those other
prospects on this roster. So, the skill sets are different, the
personalities are different, the background is different, the
competition is different, and that's what makes this such a
challenge."
According to ESPN, the Rams are leaning toward making Goff the top
overall pick but a team source added that the team also would
consider Wentz before it has to make the decision on April 28.

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones will be making
a trip to Berkeley in California this weekend for a private workout
with Goff. The Cowboys have the No. 4 overall pick in this year's
draft.
"(Goff) operates in a pretty place," Jones told ESPN. "I like to
have that excuse to go out there. No, seriously, we are going to go
do a workout this weekend. It'll be Goff, out there before their
spring game."

The Broncos and the city of Denver want to host the 2019 NFL Draft.
According to KUSA in Denver, Broncos president and CEO Joe Ellis was
in New York this week to discuss with league officials and
commissioner Roger Goodell the city's desire to host the draft in
the league's 100th season.
The league had been conducting its draft in New York City for 50
consecutive years -- since 1964 -- until deciding in 2015 to offer
up the event to bids from other cities.
Chicago will host the three-day draft April 28-30 for a second
consecutive year.
