 OT Tyson Chandler was released with a non-football injury, the
Buffalo Bills announced Friday. The Bills didn't specify what type
of injury Chandler sustained. Chandler was signed as an undrafted
free agent in 2015 and didn't play in any regular-season games.

NFL Note - Chicago Bears Long, Kyle
OL Kyle Long had his fifth-year option exercised by the Chicago
Bears, the team announced Friday. Exercising the option keeps the
Pro Bowl guard under contract through 2017. Long has made the Pro
Bowl in each of his first three seasons since being the 20th overall
pick in the 2013 NFL draft out of Oregon. He served as the right
guard his first two seasons before playing right tackle last season.
He is expected to play right guard this season when he is scheduled
to make $1.16 million.

NFL Note - * Free Agents Jones, Chris
DT Chris Jones was released by the New England Patriots, the team
announced Friday. Jones, 25, spent all of last season on the
physically unable to perform list due to a calf injury. He played in
28 games (23 starts) over the previous two seasons and had 83
tackles and nine sacks.

NFL Note - * Free Agents Kitchen, Ishmaa'ily
DT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen was released by the New England Patriots, the
team announced Friday. Kitchen, 27, joined the Patriots in
mid-December and played in just one game with the team. He also
played in one game for the Detroit Lions last season before being
released. Kitchen also spent three seasons (2012-14) with the
Cleveland Browns and has 90 career tackles.
