Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[April 19, 2016]  SPRINGFIELD — This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were up 3 to 4 cents. Soybean bids advanced 29 to 31 cents.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 3 to 4 cents higher. Soybean bids gained 30 to 38 cents.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were up 4 to 5 cents. Soybean bids advanced 30 to 35 cents. Wheat bids gained 14 cents.
