Obituary
Patrick K. Rogers, 77, of Lincoln passed away on
Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:25 p.m. at the A.L.M.H.
in Lincoln.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00p.m.
until 8:00 p.m on Friday, April 15th. At the Eagles
Lodge #2708 in Lincoln.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Patrick K. Rogers was born on September 7, 1938 in
Peoria the son of Kenneth Rogers and Louise {Whitesell)
Fitzer. He was united in marriage to Ruth V. Casey
on February 20, 1960. She preceded him in death on
December 19, 1997.
Surviving are his children: Tim (Celeste) Rogers of
Tuscola, Mike Rogers and Kathy (James) Sprague both
of Lincoln. Two grandsons: Nate and Tyler Sprague.
He was preceded in death by his parents , one
daughter: Catherine Rogers, one son: Patrick "Paddy"
Rogers. |
Pat graduated from Lincoln Community High School in
1957. He then served in the United States Navy.
He was Manager of the Knights of Columbus for many
years and also "Petro Pat's" gas station. He
co-started the Lincoln Shopper/Printers.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's
choice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peasley
Funeral Home.
