[April 25, 2016]
The
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Minier will be celebrating with
grateful hearts all who have, and continue to, serve our country
with an Armed Forces Sunday on May 1st.
|
The congregation is inviting the community to help in honoring
our military by wearing patriotic clothing. Those who have served in
the past are also asked to wear their uniforms if possible.
After the church service, a special presentation will honor current
and past members of the military who are also members at Good
Shepherd Lutheran.
Lunch will be provided, and a RSVP is requested to ensure there is
enough food for everyone.
Information will be available about the Land of Lincoln Honor
Flight program.
