Seattle Mariners CEO Howard Lincoln will retire when Nintendo of
America sells a majority of its interest in the team to other
members of the current ownership group.
John Stanton will replace Lincoln as chairman and CEO, the team
announced.

The Cleveland Indians recalled left-hander Kyle Crockett from
Columbus and optioned right-hander Cody Anderson to the Triple-A
team.
Anderson has made four starts this year for the Indians and has a
7.65 ERA. He failed to protect the lead on Tuesday night as the
Minnesota Twins rallied for a 6-5 victory.

The Washington Nationals called up left-hander Sammy Solis from
Triple-A Syracuse and right-hander Matt Belisle (right calf strain)
went on the 15-day disabled list after he was hurt Tuesday.
Solis made his big-league debut last year with the Nationals. This
season, he gave up just one earned run in nine innings at Syracuse.

The Oakland A's selected the contract of catcher/outfielder Matt
McBride from Triple-A Nashville. He is expected to serve as the A's
third catcher.
The A's also optioned right-hander Andrew Triggs to Nashville.

A's manager Bob Melvin announced that left-hander Sean Manaea will
make his major league debut when he starts Friday against Houston.
Manaea is 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA for Triple-A Nashville

The Detroit Tigers activated reliever Francisco Rodriguez from the
family medical emergency list after he was placed on the list
Sunday.
The Tigers also optioned outfielder Tyler Collins to Triple-A
Toledo. Collins was hitting .100 with one RBI in 20 at-bats.

Chicago White Sox right-hander Miguel Gonzalez was optioned to
Triple-A Charlotte, and right-hander Daniel Webb was recalled from
Charlotte.
Webb, 26, was 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA and two saves with Charlotte.
Gonzalez made his White Sox debut Monday and did not factor in the
decision in the 7-5 Chicago win after allowing five runs and 11
hits.

The Toronto Blue Jays recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Tepera from
Triple-A Buffalo, and they optioned left-handed/right-handed pitcher
Pat Venditte to Buffalo. Venditte had a 7.36 earned-run average in 3
