his intentions clear with comments like turning "the Silver State
into the silver and black state."
Davis' quest toward moving the Raiders to Las Vegas came during a
meeting with the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee at

Suspended Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon pled guilty
to a misdemeanor DUI charge, according to published reports.
Blackmon's plea was for an arrest on Dec. 21 in Ardmore, Okla. He is
slated to be sentenced on June 8.

Opponents to the long-awaited concussion settlement with the NFL are
taking another crack at the legal system to block the deal.
Attorneys for about 70 former players have asked for a rehearing of
an April 18 decision by a three-judge panel of the Third Circuit
Court of Appeals.

Cardell Hayes was charged with second-degree murder in the shooting
death of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith.
Hayes also was indicted by a grand jury for attempted murder of
Smith's wife, Racquel, who was injured in the shooting incident on
April 9 in New Orleans after a minor traffic accident, and for
aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated criminal damage to
a vehicle.

New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has expressed that he
would "rather not play football" than accept the team's current
contract offer, ESPN reported.
New York is offering a contract of between $7 and $8 million per
season while Fitzpatrick is requesting a deal for approximately
twice that amount.

Despite still being unsigned and not participating in the Broncos'
voluntary offseason program, Denver linebacker Von Miller said he
expects to have a contract any day.
While in Denver on Wednesday, Miller characterized contract
negotiations as "just business."

The Miami Dolphins waived defensive back Damarr Aultman, wide
receivers Tyler Davis and Robert Herron and defensive tackle Robert
Thomas II.
