[August 06, 2016]  LINCOLN - Jean Elenore Lolling , 85, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on July 31, 2016 at St. Clara’s Manor.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday August 4, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Jean Elenore Lolling , 85, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on July 31, 2016 at St. Clara’s Manor.

Jean was born on January 28, 1931 in Lincoln, IL; daughter of Annias and M. Pearl Wallace Huskins. She married Robert Lolling on October 2, 1950 in Lincoln. He survives her.

Also surviving are her children: Kenneth “Mike” (Liz) Lolling of Embarras, MN, David Paul Lolling of Lincoln, Deborah Sue (Tony) Meyer of Lincoln, and Shari Diane (Donnie) Boyd of Metropolis, one brother: Kenneth (Kate) Huskins of Lincoln, eight grandchildren: Tanya Lolling Adams, Mark Kazakaitis, Kristi Kazakaitis Carter, Sabra Boyd (Dagon) Brucker, Mollie Lolling, Jeannie Lolling, Zachary Lolling, Hannah Lolling. Two great grandchildren: Shane Adams and Jamison Carter. One great-great grandchild: Asher Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Loyd, Elmer, and Everett Huskins, four sisters: Marie Charron, Mamie Whiteman, Edna Mae Holda, and Agnes Eckert.

Jean was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Lincoln. She worked for Cutler Hammer, Schoen’s Shoe Store, and was a secretary at Faith Lutheran Church.

Jean was an avid painter, enjoyed flower gardening, and sewed many banners for Faith Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Services for Jean will be 10:00 a.m. Friday August 5, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday August 4, 2016 also at the funeral home. Burial at Zion Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be made in Jean’s name to Faith Lutheran Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
