Saturday, August 6th after the
chili cook-off, a pie auction was held in the KC Pavilion to raise
money for the Logan County Fair Foundation. The bidding was fast and
serious.
Six prize winning pies auctioned off raised $950 to help keep the
fair going.

Amy Naughton's Grand Champion Cherry Pie sold
for $240.
Carlene Carter's Reserve Champion Cherry Pie sold for $120.
Ms. Szafranski’s third place cherry pie sold
for $120.
Darlene Crider's fourth place triple berry pie
sold for $95.
Sara Vaughn's fifth place peach blackberry pie
sold for $240.
Miriam Carter's sixth place blueberry pie sold
for $135.
