Aug 12 (The Sports Xchange) - The Buffalo Bills and quarterback
Tyrod Taylor agreed to a contract extension Friday.
Terms were not announced but the Buffalo News reported the deal for
the sixth-year player is worth approximately $90 million over six
years.
Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Taylor could earn millions
more through incentives, but the Bills have a $10 million buyout
option after the first year and another out after the second.
The 27-year-old Taylor was entering the final year of his contract
and set make a $2 million base salary this season.
Taylor, in his first year as an NFL starter and first season with
the Bills in 2015, passed for 3,035 yards and 20 touchdowns with six
interceptions in 14 games.

Following
the 22-0 preseason win over the Chicago Bears on Thursday night,
Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak would not commit to a starting
quarterback for next week.
Mark Sanchez made an opening argument for the job, throwing for 99
yards and a touchdown in the first quarter for the defending Super
Bowl champions. He finished 10 of 13 for 99 yards with one
interception.
Sanchez's quarterback competitor, Trevor Siemian, completed seven of
12 passes for 88 yards. Rookie Paxton Lynch went 6-of-7 passing with
74 yards in his first NFL appearance.

"I don't know," Kubiak said Thursday night after the game. "I am
kind of going day to day."

Quarterback Eli Manning will be a spectator when the New York Giants
host the Miami Dolphins in Friday night's preseason opener.
First-year coach Ben McAdoo announced that Manning won't play in the
team's first tune-up. He said backup Ryan Nassib will be the starter
and that Logan Thomas will also see action. (Editing by Andrew Both)
